It sounds like there may be a software conflict somewhere on your system that's causing the installation to fail. As gaz23g has advised, you don't actually need the VMC software in order to connect. I'd recommend setting up a manual dial-up connection as follows -Go to Start > Control Panel -Double Click on Phone and Modem Options Fill in the location info if it asks -Click the Modems Tab -Highlight the Huwaei Modem and click Properties -Click the Advanced Tab and type in the following where it asks for an extra initialisation command at+cgdcont=1,"IP","internet" -Press OK and then OK again -In the Control Panel double click on Network Connections -Click on Create New Connection/New Connection Wizard -Choose Connect To The Internet and press Next -Choose Setup My Connection Manually and press Next -Choose Connect Using A Dial-Up Modem and press Next -Type in Vodafone when it asks for an ISP name and press Next -The phone number needs to be *99, press Next -Username and Password and both web press Next and then create the connection. Kemarin ane beli modem Huawei K3765 yang ada logonya vodafone melalui FJB kaskus. Ane beli modem ini COD, kita ketemuan di halte busway Lebak Bulus. Setelah ketemu, langsung aja ane cek dulu modemnya, ane colokin deh modemnya ke laptop dan langsung plug and play, tapi kok yang munculnya Mobile Partner yaa??? Ane inget, ini karena dulu ane pernah nginstall modem AHA milik temen ane. Biasanya nanti ada semacam aplikasi AHA Dialer di program kita. Yang jadi masalah, modemnya sih kedetek ma Mobile Partner tapi sinyalnya ga nongol2, hadeeeuh gimana nih -. Tapi ane ga putus asa, ane coba uninstall/hapus Mobile Partnernya barangkali ini penyebabnya. Berbekal coba2, akhirnya ane tahu cara uninstall/hapus Mobile Partnernya. Ane ketik perintah di terminal sudo /usr/local/Mobile_Partner/Uninstall sudo /usr/local/Mobile_Partner/UninstallMobilePartner Nah, ada masalah lagi nih temen2, ketika ane colokin modem Huawei K3765 ga muncul apa2, karna Mobile Partner nya udah ane hapus. Terus gimana ngonekinnya???? Setelah ane browsing, searching n googling, ternyata cuma nginstall satu aplikasi doank, nama usb-modeswitch.
